Portland Saturday Market 2-11-12 Featured Artisan "A Trip to No Where"

When you visit Portland Saturday Market it is a must to stop and visit with Thomas Sedlak, the artist behind "A Trip to No Where".  He makes lovely hanging art that spins and you are never quite sure if the orbs of glass are moving up and down the coils are not.   There isn't a day we are at the market that I don't wander by his booth and set a few of his pieces to spinning.  His fun, colorful, vibrant pieces make it difficult to just choose one and I just can't resist setting them to spinning.

the color and detail he creates in his pieces is phenomenal.

Ok, it is really hard in an outdoor setting to get perfect shots without a reflection, but the color and detail he creates in his pieces is phenomenal.

Color is not something he fears, and has some fantastic combinations to choose from
