A Country Place -- Portland Saturday Market Vendor

Art comes in all sizes, shapes and textures.  Living art, while not something I am currently doing, is one of my favorite.  Portland Saturday Market Vendor "A Country Place" offers a variety of living art pieces.  They offer painted pieces of art and a few other odds and ends, yet it is clear that their specialty is their living art.

City living does not offer most people large amounts of land for growing, which A Country Place has taken into account.  They offer small plants that if maintained properly will remain small and allow someone with even the tiniest of living space to bring a bit of the outdoors to their living space.

The top shelf has tiny Japanese maple trees.

The Bonsai tree is an ancient art form.  It is also a very meditative plant to own.  The careful tending of the plant from nurturing to pruning can become very meditative if you allow yourself to find the right head space while tending the small tree.

Showing a variety of the miniature trees they have available as well as a few of their painted items there on the middle shelf on the end.

Portland Saturday Market hours of operation:
Saturday:  10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday 11:00 am to 4:30 pm
