Public Transportation to Portland Saturday Market

Whether visiting Portland, Oregon and not wanting to drive or incur the expense of a rental. Or you live in the area and want to avoid the hassle of parking downtown to visit Portland Saturday Market, no problem.  The market is conveniently located on Public transportation lines.

You actually have three otpions and all I can say for advice on which one is best is going to be based on your starting and ending point.

~The MAX Light Rail extends further out and offers options to avoid driving to far into town.  It is also convenient for those that live in town.

~TheVintage Trolley is great if you are already down.  As it is mostly provides public transportation in downtown Portland.

~Tri-Met bus is your third option.  -- at the time of writing this lines #12, #19, or #20 will drop you off close to the market.

As you can see, Portland Saturday Market chose its sight to be accessible for all.  In addition, if you spend $25.00 from an Market artisan,  you can visit the information booth and receive a free bus pass for your return trip. We look forward to seeing you at the start of Market season, the first Saturday in March!
